Ingredients

2 cups unbleached flour2 tablespoons granulated sugar2 teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoons baking soda½ teaspoon salt2 eggs, lightly beaten6 tablespoons vegetable oil1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt, lowfat¾ cup whole milk1 cups banana, mashed

Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and saltin a mixing bowl and stir to combine. Place the eggs in the work bowl of the Cuisinart® food processor fitted with the metal chopping blade. Process for 10 seconds.With machine running, add oil and then the milk. Add banana and process for 10 seconds. Pour dry ingredients evenly over wet ingredients and pulse until mixture comes together. Scrape bowl and pulse again to completely incorporate all ingredients. Be careful not to overmix. Let batter rest 5 minutes before using.Preheat your Cuisinart ® Waffle Iron on setting #3. When preheated, green indicator light will illuminate. Pour ⅓ cups of batter onto the center of each lower grid; spread batter using a heatproof spatula to within ½ inch of the edge of the grid. Close lid of waffle iron – green indicator light will turn off. When green indicator light turns on again, waffle is ready. Open lid and carefully remove baked waffle. Repeat with remaining batter. For best results, serve immediately.
