This seasoning can be very versatile – perfect in crab cakes but also a great seasoning for poultry and French fries!

Ingrédients

1 tablespoon celery seed1 tablespoon black peppercorns½ teaspoon mustard seeds4 whole cardamom pods, hulled, casings discarded4 bay leaves, torn into 3 to 4 pieces½ teaspoon kosher salt⅛ teaspoon ground ginger½ teaspoon paprika3-4 whole cloves

Preparation

Place all spices in the bowl of the Cuisinart® Spice & Nut Grinder. Pulse 5 times and then process until finely ground, about 20 seconds. Use immediately or contain in a sealed glass jar. Store in a dry, cool place.
