Ingrédients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 garlic cloves, 8 sliced and 2 chopped, divided
  • 1tablespoon dry white wine
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine cleaned shrimp, olive oil, sliced garlic, wine, ½ teaspoon of the salt and pepper.
  2. Refrigerate and allow to marinate for no more than 30 minutes.
  3. Put the marinated shrimp onto the tray inside the steamer.
    Secure lid.
  4. Select Seafood, set timer for 7 minutes 30 seconds and
    press Start.
  5. Once timer expires, transfer shrimp to a bowl. Toss with
    remaining salt, butter and chopped parsley and garlic.
    Serve immediately, over pasta if desired.
