This versatile dessert can be made with just about any fruit. Follow the same instructions but substitute your favorite fruit in place of the raspberries and bananas – you may also have to adjust the sugar amount to taste, depending on the ripeness of the fruit used.

Ingrédients

2 medium bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces 2 tablespoons light or dark brown sugar pinch table salt 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) raspberries ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1½ cups heavy cream, well chilled 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

Preparation

Put the bananas, brown sugar, salt, raspberries and lemon juice into the jar of your Cuisinart® PowerEdge® 1000 Watt Blender. Run on Low for 1½ minutes. With the blender running on Low, add the cream and granulated sugar through the top of the lid. Continue on Low until mixture has thickened, about 2½ minutes. Divide the blended mixture among six 5-ounce-ramekins. Chill overnight.
