Lavender Iced Coffee
Makes 1 ½ cups
Use this lavender simple syrup in your coffee or try it out in a cocktail!
Ingrédients
- Lavender Simple Syrup:
- 1cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
1tablespoon dried culinary lavender - Assembly:
- ¼ cup (2 ounces) oat milk, preferably chilled
1tablespoon lavender simple syrup
1 cup ice
1coffee pod
Preparation
- Put the water and sugar in a small pot set over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and mix until the sugar is completely dissolved. After the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and add the dried Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and discard. Chill completely before using.
- Put 1 tablespoon of the lavender simple syrup and oat milk in a tall glass (at least 16 ounces in capacity). Add the ice. Using the OVER ICE program, brew 6 ounces of coffee directly into the glass.
- Stir and serve immediately.
Note: Lavender simple syrup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
