Eco-Friendly Technology:
Cuisinart® GreenGourmet™ Cookware allows consumers to create great tasting meals while reducing their carbon footprint. The cookware was developed using manufacturing techniques that reduce harmful carbon emissions by consuming less energy. Designed with an exclusive Cuisinart Ceramica™ non-stick surface, the cookware features a petroleum-free, ceramic-based coating that is applied at a temperature one half that of traditional non-sticks.

More good news: the coating does not contain PTFE and PFOA, substances often used in non-stick cookware that have raised health concerns over the years in Canada and abroad. The coating is also water-based, unlike other non-stick coatings on the market, which are solvent-based. This safe non-stick surface has a scratch-resistant non-stick surface that won’t peel off. The new cookware conforms to FDA, and European RoHS standards for environmentally sound products.

Eco-Friendly Packaging:
Cuisinart’s GreenGourmet™ packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and is printed using 100% biodegradable soy ink. Another key green feature is the stainless steel riveted handles that are manufactured using 70% recycled stainless steel.

Besides the eco-friendly features available in Cuisinart’s GreenGourmet™ Cookware, the product offers consumers greater versatility when cooking. Unlike traditional non-stick surfaces, GreenGourmet™ Cookware can be used in the oven for top browning and broiling.

Convenience:
Oven and broiler safe, the GreenGourmet™ Cookware was developed with Cuisinart’s signature. Stay-Cool handles, featuring a V-shaped base so that heat dissipates.
