CUISINART INTRODUCES OPEN STOCK KNIVES TO THEIR ALREADY BROAD LINE UP OF HOUSEWARES AND SMALL APPLIANCES

Toronto, ON — Cuisinart, known for its introduction of the Food Processor in the 1970s and its beautiful and classic Stainless Steel small appliances is broadening its collection of knives this fall with Open Stock pieces.

A perfect addition to the Cuisinart line, the new cutlery will include a 8” Chef’s knife, a 8” Bread knife, a 4.75” Serrated Utility knife, a 3.5” Paring knife, and the trendy and useful 5” Santoku Knife.

“We decided it was time to introduce some individual pieces to our current Cutlery selection,” said Bev Melnick, Director of Marketing for Cuisinart. “ We picked the most popular and commonly used knives in our Triple Riveted Forged Collection - the Chef’s Knife, Bread Knife, Parer, Utility and the essential Santoku Knife, in order to offer consumers the most ideal selection from Cuisinart.”

Open stock pieces allow the consumer to add to their knife collection one piece at a time, building their own set, or will allow them to try one piece before buying a large 14-piece set. Buying knives can be a daunting and confusing experience, but with individual pieces consumers can try the knives before committing to a set.

The Cuisinart Triple Riveted Forged Collection includes oversized stainless steel rivets that secure the ergonomically designed handle to the full tang blade. The superior high-carbon stainless steel blade used in the Triple Riveted Collection is used for its precision and accuracy. Consumers that are familiar with Cuisinart’s broad line of small appliances will enjoy being able to complete their “Cuisinart kitchen” with these new knives!

Cuisinart knives come with a Lifetime Warranty.
