CUISINART TOOK THEIR PREMIER BLENDER AND TURNED IT INTO A 2-IN-1 APPLIANCE!

2-IN-1 PREMIER BLENDER

Toronto, ON — Cuisinart, a leading producer of culinary appliances and professional quality cookware, will re-launch their SmartPower Premier 600 Watt Blender but this time with a food processor attachment, forming the new SmartPower Premier Duet™ Blender/Food Processor. This product will be available in the Canadian marketplace in April 2005. The SmartPower Premier Duet™ features a 600 watt motor making it powerful enough to handle any kitchen task, from crushing ice, and blending soups, to slicing veggies and shredding cheese.

“As counter space is at a premium in many kitchens, Cuisinart continues to come up with appliances that have multiple functions”, says Michael Santucci, Product Manager for Cuisinart Canada. “Cuisinart’s new SmartPower Premier Duet™ Blender/Food Processor allows consumers to do their day-to-day food prep tasks all in one machine. Twice the performance options in half the counter space! Blend, puree, chop, grind, shred or slice, this product is up to the task!”

The new SmartPower Premier Duet™ Blender/Food Processor is simple to use. Just select whether you would like to use the large 50-ounce glass blender jar or the 3-cup food processor attachment. When using the SmartPower Premier Duet™ as a blender, simply place the filled glass jar on the base, and select whether you want to blend on low or high, ice crush or pulse action. With a Count-Up™ Timer, the unit will count the seconds/minutes spend blending, and will continuously beep after 5 minutes. This will ensure that perfect results are reached — every time!

When using the unit as a food processor, simply place the food processor attachment on the base, insert either the slicing/shredding disc or the chopping blade (depending on the results you want), replace the cover on top, select the High speed and press the ON button. The feed tube allows for food to be fed through the top, as the unit is slicing/shredding.

The cast metal and brushed stainless steel exterior with the embossed Cuisinart logo makes this product something to display on your countertop. And like most Cuisinart electric appliances, it comes with a 3-year limited warranty.

Availability: April 2005
