Toronto, ON — Cuisinart, a leading producer of high-end culinary appliances and professional quality cookware, will introduce a new non-stick electric wok to the Canadian marketplace in February 2005. This versatile kitchen appliance with its extra large 7.3 quart capacity, can handle family sized meals with ease.

“Versatility is a key deciding factor for consumers”, says Michael Santucci, Product Manager for Cuisinart Canada. “People want to be able to use an appliance frequently and for more than one purpose. This electric wok can do anything from stir-frys, to soups, sauces and tempura.”

With 1500 watts of power, the new Cuisinart Electric Wok ensures a quick heat up and the removable temperature probe adjusts from warm to 450°F for more cooking options. With the probe removed, the wok can be brought to the table and used as a serving dish. No need to dirty extra dishes! And clean up could not be simpler. Once removed from the base, the wok can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

The beautiful brushed stainless steel exterior wok features cast metal handles, a domed stainless steel lid, a steamer rack, a tempura rack and two wooden spatulas. It also includes an excellent instruction/recipe book with tested-till-perfect recipes. And, like all Cuisinart electric products, it is backed with a three-year warranty.
