FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 2003
Cuisinart and Legendary French Chef Bocuse Work Together to Promote Culinary Arts Around the World
Toronto, ON The old adage says, no man is an island. Cuisinart believes this to be true of a corporation as well.
Partnerships help a company grow, flourish, and reach audiences they may not otherwise have the ability to communicate with.
It was this philosophy that attracted Cuisinart to the renowned French chef, Paul Bocuse.
Paul Bocuse began his legendary career at the early age of 10, and has become known as the “Pope” of nouvelle cuisine.
Cuisinart, an innovator and leading manufacturer in food preparation appliances, approached Chef Bocuse in 2001 to speak on behalf of Cuisinart and Waring products throughout North America, as well as assist in the launch of Cuisinart in Europe.
Today, Chef Bocuse appears on behalf of Cuisinart and Waring at trade shows and special events and advises the company on food service product development. His picture appears on various product packaging throughout the world.
“We are proud and honoured to be partnering with Chef Bocuse,” says Beverley Melnick, Director of Marketing for Cuisinart Canada. “He is a legend in culinary circles around the world and brings a level of prestige to our product lines that no other chef can.”
