I love entertaining and love cooking up culinary delights such as turkey, stuffing, sauté vegetables and crispy roasted potatoes which are always a family favourite. Nothing beats herb crusted roasted potato with some caramelized onions and peppers. When making the ultimate roasted potato I turn to my green gourmet 12 inch skillet. It holds heat well, and its non stick surface allows me to cut down on the amount of fat needed for perfect results. I really like the helper handle when lifting the pan in and out of the oven safely.
When it comes to vegetables I love green beam amandine. Golden toasted almonds and crispy green beans make a classic side dish to accompany any dinner. I love the smell of toasting almonds and the Green Gourmet skillet does a great job.

Ever since I abandoned my other non-stick cookware, I have been searching for an alternative. It had to be non-stick and durable with even heating for items such as eggs, fish and casseroles. I have found my new, non-stick cookware with Cuisinart’s Green Gourmet Cookware. The true test for non-stick cookware is a simple frittata. Frittatas tend to stick to ordinary cookware so the surface must be non-stick. Frittatas require gentle, even heating to ensure that the eggs do not overcook. I finish cooking my frittatas in the oven so the right pan can go directly from the stovetop to the oven.
The first frittata I made in the Cuisinart Green Gourmet 12” Skillet was perfect. I was able to gently cook the eggs on the stovetop ensuring a light, creamy consistency. I placed the skillet directly into the oven, which meant the eggs cooked through at just the right temperature. And when I turned out the frittata onto my serving plate, it released from the pan with ease. My guests loved the dish and I can’t wait to test new recipes with my new favourite skillet.

The Green Gourmet frying pan is the only frying pan that I will use for my children and in Sprout Right’s Mommy Chef Cooking classes. It is functional with its non-stick ceramica coating, safe for my family and clients, and better for the environment. An all around kitchen essential!

I love my 10” skillet. It is just the right size for omelettes and I use it a lot for frying up vegetables like mushrooms, peppers and onions. It doesn’t need any oil or butter to stop things from sticking, but I often add some just for flavour.
It is very sturdy and well made, not flimsy like so many fry pans.
I am very happy it is free from PTFE and PFOA substances often used in non-stick cookware. My
old Teflon pans coating scrapped off and it really worried me about it getting in my food.
The only thing I didn’t like was when my daughter was cooking an egg and got some on the outside of the pan which is rough in texture. It cooked on, and even with scrubbing it was difficult to remove.
