- Consider your needs – take a look at the products you use regularly, they will help you to determine what products you should be registering for. Then create a registry list.
- Look through existing registry checklists before creating your registry. Highlight items of interest so that you remember to add them to your list.
- Take your registry online – this gives your guests an added convenience when purchasing your selected products. They can make purchases from home and can purchase products from your list that might not be available in store. If they plan to shop in store – they can print out your registry at home and avoid the line up at the kiosk.
- Monitor your registry – be sure to keep track of gifts you’ve received and the number of items left on your registry. This will help to reduce duplication and give your guests choices so that they don’t end up getting you something you don’t want.
- Register your products with the manufacturer to ensure warranty information.
