Brew Central 14-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent machine We've used our "Brew Central" for over a year now and found it to work consistently well. Relatively easy to clean although a bit awkward if you had not placed the pot properly and grinds end up in the reservoir but that's not the fault of the machine but the operator. We use the timer function as well as the brew on demand usualy with fresh ground beans and we use it every day.

Is it normal for the regular or the bold button light to stay on even when the unit is shut down. Also, the 1-4 button light, is it suppose to stay on when the unit is shut off or do we have to manually depress it again. Thanks

Asked by: Ngerry
Hello Ngerry, yes it is normal for those lights to stay on as long as the unit is plugged in. Cheers

All of a sudden, my unit would not turn on this morning. There is power, as the brew setting lights up. What could be the problem?

Coffee maker is making 14 cups/full brew when I select 1-4 cups. I have it set to brew and click on 1-4 cup button and then click on BOLD before clicking the power on. It brews a full pot and doesn't stop at 4 cups. Am I doing something wrong?

Does the cone require a paper filter?

Asked by: Francine 1
Hello Francine 1 The paper filter is a substitute for the mesh gold tone filter. Use one or the other, never both. The filters are placed in the black plastic basket (known as the filter basket holder) Cheers,
