JUST TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX AND WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF THE UNIT WILL CHOP ICE???

Are the plastic attachments and containers BPA free?
Great question. All of the parts that come into contact with the food are BPA free.

Hi, I want to know if this model is wired or works with a battery? I'm looking for a wired model. Thanks.
