Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still needs one feature improved.... We have had two of these machines now. We love the grinder (burr). We did a lot of research before finding and buying this machine. However we still have one complaint that they need to fix on this machine. We have had the bean hopper break on us 3 times now, and let me tell you that it is frustrating, time consuming and costly to keep replacing time and again. The need to replace the fixtures with metal not plastic!!!! The plastic pieces keep snapping when you lock and unlock the hopper to remove it and clean the machine out, the beans get in the way and "snap"! The next thing you know you are on this site.... :(

We have had this coffee maker for about 8 years - we use it everyday of the week - it's also gone through several adult parties as we like to entertain and have a large family and a few teenage kids parties and after prom parties where it's probably made 8 pots of coffee in a row without fail. It faithfully woke my daughter up at 6:30 every morning as she slept on the main floor :) That was her only complaint - the noise it made. However, the lovely fresh brewed coffee highly outweighs the noise. You'll need to make a few pots of coffee with it before you get the right strength control. But when you get it to where you like it, you'll never go back to a regular coffee maker. You'll also want to play around with different types of coffee. We are pretty particular and this coffee maker has not let us down no matter the type. My husband and I will never buy another type! Best ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functionally great but.... I stopped using the grind feature for approx 6 months. Now that I want to go back to it, I cannot extract the grind unit to wash it. Therefore, I cannot continue to use the grind feature until it can be extracted. Argh!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like morning coffee with fresh ground beans. Bought this product couple of years ago. Now I guess tear and wear sets in need to replace grinding blade. Noticed the axle is worn out and as it grinds it makes unpleased noise. Were can I get this part.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not completely satisfied. My Model DGB-900BCC worked fine for a while but then it was overflowing. With almost every use, the lid was cleaned and the basket was cleaned. Quite frustrating (and messy!)

The grind on/off light is blinking - what does this mean? The coffee maker still grinds successfully and makes a full pot of coffee. I clean the chute and grounds every day, and unplugged the unit to no avail.

Our faithful coffee maker has stopped passing water through on one go. To make a pot we have to manually do about 4 trys to get a full pot. Used to just be automatic. Water filter is newly changed and inserted proper. Any ideas?

We have a Cuisinart grind and brew coffeemaker and have to clean the grinder daily which is time consuming and a real headache. Is there a solution to this problem?

i do not see how the hopper "locks" onto the machine. I can't get the grinder to start. i wish the video would show everything right from set up to go. i am going to have to take this unit back.

After about one year of use, our coffeemaker started leaking water out of the bottom of the unit while making coffee.  It does not have too much water in the machine.  Any suggestions as to what it may be?

We got our coffee maker 5 years ago, now the grinder only grinds a short time only a bout 1/3 enough beans. Is there some thing I can do to make it grind longer?. I like the coffee make and can still use it for regular coffee grinds.

Also have the Grind and Brew 12 cup coffeemaker, and although it is cleaned daily, 2 weeks ago the grinder stopped working. We have cleaned all removable parts and decalcified the water reservoir, but still not grinding.  Is it too late to reover?

I have a 10 cup Grind & Brew. One day the grinder started on its own. I had to turn the machine off manually. Now will not turn back on. Other buttons won't work. The clock runs but cannot change or set the time. Have cleaned it. Any ideas?
