Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes great smoothies! My husband ordered this through a work rewards program. We used it almost daily for a few months when the motor seized. But after sending the broken blender back to Cruisinart son they could have a look, they promptly sent another one to us. So all is well with the world again. :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this blender Purchased last week, and the design flaw referred to by others here is apparent...the blade carrier rotates off when the machine runs, causing it to leak. In an attempt to keep it on, we screwed it on tightly, and now the gasket is shot. This will cost $40 for three replacements, and will take ten days to arrive, apparently. Longer than I have had the blender.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks Bought this blender a year ago. Have only used it couple of times a week for smoothies. Recently leaked all over. Thought I hadn't screwd it together properly as blade part was screwd out. After considerable effort I managed to get in clean. Tried it out once and it was fine. Tried it out today and another mess. Sounds like this is a common problem. Not sure if problem is fixable or I should spend another 100 bucks for a new blender.'

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wish I read the other review posted here Makes great smoothies, but the blades unscrewed themselves and leak all over the counter. I thought the first time it was just not screwed on tight, but no it happened 5 more times over a 25 day period.

Hi What's the difference between Cuisinart velocity ultra 1HP with travel cup BTC 650C and SPB 650C. Have you discontinued BTC 650C?

      Asked by: Akshadows
Dear Akshadows, Thank you for reaching out to us. The SPB-650C with travel cups is an exclusive blender to Canadian Tire only. It is 750 Watts motor. We have not had a BTC 650C model. However, the SPB-650C with 1000 watts motor is for other retailers such as sears the Bay and Best Buy etc. Cheers! -Cuisinart Canada
