    Rated 4 out of 5 by from My hinge broke too... Machine is good, but the broken hinge is a pain. I'll say no to recommending this machine because of the hinge. Otherwise the machine has been great. With more people having this problem, I have to say no.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from glad I finally found the 12 cup thermal carafe This is a great coffee maker but seems to have a design flaw. The pop top seems to warp after a very short time and no longer pops up. I returned the first one after about 5 months and the replacement is stuck after only 5 or 6 weeks.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's elementary, Cuisinart! This is the second Cuisinart pot we've bought and the spouts on both drip and run. Great coffee but must be poured over sink or paper towels to catch drips or worse. Isn't this basic? Why can't Cuisinart get it?

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great idea but flawed We love this coffee maker, the thermos keeps the coffee hot for a few hours without that burned taste. However, the unit is only 2 months and the lid on occasion stops passing the coffee through and we end up with coffee all over the floor and counter. We're afraid to leave the room when it's in brew cycle cause we never know when the lid will stick and not pass any more fluid through. I've seen this malfunction in other reviews with Cuisinart thermos coffee makers. It is obviously a design flaw and should be corrected. I would like to get a new lid.

Purchased the first machine and the reservoir lid broke within the first week; exchanged the machine and the reservoir lid broke again within the first month. Love the overall look of the machine and the coffee is great but cannot recommend this machine due the faulty reservoir lids.

I call to register it for the warranty and talk to a representative and she was very understanding with the serial number it was on warranty....Well now it is broken (don t keep the coffee warm more than 1 hour it is not the same story...I need the copy of the purchase to have it repair. I can t have it because it deal with third party for all the gift we have for different years of service. So now i am stuck with one who doesn't work and can t get it service on warranty......I am so mad that i called the headquarter of my compagny and asked them to removed ALL cuisinar product from our catalogue of gift and expalin WHY.....i am going to buy a new one BUY never a other Cuisinar and i DO NOT RECOMMOND this product........

    The 2 plastic hinge pieces that hold springs in place for lid broke. Is there a replacement lid for this machine? (The top lid with the button that opens it where water goes in)

    This model is very poorly designed.  Why is the DCC-3200 not available in Canada?  It's the best rated coffee maker on Amazon.
