    Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this machine. I sometimes drink tea and didn't like to have to boil a kettle for one cup. the hot water feature is perfect for that. I also use it to make instant oatmeal. I have not had any issues with my unit and I have owned it for 5 years now. We drink a pot of coffee everyday. The water from the hot water side does seep out once in a while if the machine is being moved but never when it is sitting still.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Machine with Hot Water Brew handy We bought this about 8 months ago and love it. The hot water brewer is much faster then a standard kettle and besides tea the kids use it for porridge, instant noodle soups and I have used it for cooking. The two levels for heat for the element keep the coffee hot without that burnt flavour. Highly recommend this for anyone who is a large user of not water.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from great warranty i absolutely love this machine, although it has only lasted 2 years and 7 months, but with the 3 year warranty we had a brand new machine within 20 days, 15 dollars to send it out and 10 for them to ship it back to us, i think is reasonable, as for the machine itself others have mentioned the water dispenser tasted horrible, just wondering if they clean it out with vinegar once in a while and even change the filters, we have never had an issue, the whole family uses it every single day, the rep we spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and helpful also.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed Originally I bought this coffee maker for the three year warranty since most don't last longer than a year. I have had it for almost 2 years now and it still runs really well. As long as you take care of this coffee maker by cleaning it regularly it lasts well. This machine will even tell you when it needs to be cleaned. I also love being able to make coffee and tea very easily when having a dinner party so all my guests can have their preference.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from some good ideas, and saves counter space the general idea of combining a drip coffee maker and a kettle is good. but in practice, some of the details get in the way. - the electronic controls are a little confusing. - water filling is awkward, because it needs extra height over the unit. - having separate reservoirs for coffee and hot water is weird. - the drain plug is an odd feature, not pictured in the manual and not obvious how to operate. it can brew coffee well, with a little practice.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this product!! Our family loves this product. We use it religiously, especially the hot water dispenser. Unfortunately, this product is now leaking. We have tried a few things to get it to stop leaking but it continues to get worse. We have finally unplugged it and stopped using it because of the water issue. I will say we never had any bad tasting water. Could someone from cuisinart please confirm if this is an ongoing issue. We have had this product just over a year. I would love to be able to get it fixed, but fear purchasing a new one that this issue will just happen again.

    Hello, I am wondering if Cuisinart makes a part for the water system. The water release tab on the bottom of the coffeemaker/ hot water system. I have looked in the parts area and multiple locations on the website but cannot seem to find this ( tab ).

    We purchased this unit about a year ago from Canadian Tire.  We love it but lately, the coffee side has been shutting itself off before the 2 hours is up. We use the auto on feature so our morning coffee is ready when we get up.  Please advise.

    I've had this model for 7 years but no longer use the hot water. I'd like to buy a slimmer model. Are there any that have the fill window on the left side of the machine like this one (easier for right handers to fill reservoir and watch fill window)?

However, we have DCC-1100 series (12cup)and DCC-2600C (14cup) with water level display window on the side. These are coffee makers without hot water feature. I have attached a link for your viewing.     I notices that many of the reviewers have said the hot water has a bad taste to it. Have you fixed this problem. Will there be a new model soon that fixes this issue. I think it is a great idea. It is the reason why I am considering purchasing machine

    We get water coming out of bottom some where so if we make 8 cups it only does 7 1/2 what is wrong with this unit?

    The hot water side has started turning itself on without human involvement. I now have to keep the machine unplugged to prevent this from happening. Is this a known issue? I presume something has gone awry with the wiring. Reason for this please?
